51st State Autos was founded three years ago by Charles Partos.

Charles had a successful 20 year career in the city as a Foreign Exchange trader with some of the major trading banks such as Deutchse, JP Morgan and NatWest. Prior to this he was an accountant with Stoy Hayward.

Having retired from the city and with a love of American cars he started 51st State Autos because he believed the UK suppliers were not delivering service or value to the market place.

Initially 51st State was a hobby with a few regular high profile clients. Eventually, however, word got round of our aggressive pricing coupled with our extremely high service levels and the business mushroomed.

Our clients like the luxury and the privacy of visiting us - and our cappuccino machine is becoming legendary!!!   Our MD's children have even acted as stand in child minders when clients' kids have become a little stressed!!!
